"Against animal suffering"

About Us

CHEETA (Coffs Harbour Environs for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is a northern New South Wales animal rights group formed in March 2008 who are working towards both behavioural and legislative change to stop the abuse, neglect and exploitation of all animals.

The expressed aim of the group is to raise awareness to the public the many forms of neglect and cruelty that occur locally and on a national level. This includes mass factory farming of pigs that are kept in sow stalls, battery chickens and turkeys squashed into cages no bigger than an A4 piece of paper and other barbaric farming practices.

We welcome new members to the group who would like to help with campaigning and/or fundraising.

THE REWARDS ARE PLENTIFUL WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE HELPED TO SAVE ANIMALS FROM A LIFE OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT.
