Local Campaigning

We are in the process of trialling four upgraded contemporary wildlife signs in the locations very much affected by road kill. These signs, "Wildlife ­ dying to Get home" are getting the message across to motorists to slow down and the group are now campaigning to get another 30 smaller signs erected around the Coffs Harbour region. We were able to secure a generous sponsor to pay for all the signs. We lobbied Council to erect the trial wildlife signs at four locations around Coffs Harbour with hopefully more to go up. These signs were sponsored by Pushkar, a local gift shop business.

We have further campaigns on the drawing board to help animals in our local area, which include petition signing at local markets.
